Ok so i think we shouild have an immediate greenhouse gas tax on all such production including cars. A low level tax that is agreed to across the globe with funds going to 3 things–not all equal: 1) research; 2) new technologies; and 3) fund to help poorer nations cope with the inevitable impact of climate change–we may slow it but its coming so lets have some funds to mitigate.
one question: should we have money to change the earth’s tilt and would not help???
I’m all about research and fighting to help mitigate the risks don’t worry. That’s why I’m studying environmental engineering essentially to try and protect water and such in the developing world.
I’m not really a fan of any large scale messing about with the earth by tilting, cloud seeding, releasing chemicals into the atmosphere… geophysics and environmental chemistry are too complicated to mess with. I’m not sure it’s a good idea to mess around any more. Mitigating our impact in manageable ways is more my strategy on life. tread lightly…
